Community
Bringing a community together.
St Paul's Community Development Trust is a long-standing Birmingham organisation with deep roots in Balsall Heath. Its work spans a specialist school, nursery, family support, community services and a city farm. They needed a brand and website that could express all of that in a way people could quickly understand.

Challenge
The challenge wasn't just visual, it was about clarity. The organisation had a rich history, a wide range of services and strong community trust, but needed a more joined-up public-facing identity that could hold everything together without losing its warmth or credibility.
Insight
An organisation only feels like one when its brand works as one.
Our approach
It started with strategy and a series of workshops, with staff, trustees and the wider community, to shape a clearer, more welcoming expression of the organisation. We then brought it to life through a new name, a flexible identity and a new website, unifying the many parts of the trust under one clear public-facing name while keeping it rooted in community, care and local pride.

Outcome
A brand system that feels more human, more coherent and better able to reflect the full scale of what the trust does across Birmingham. 1,100 people came to the launch of the new identity. In its first full year under the name, the brand and its five colour-coded service identities (Community, School, Nursery, Families and City Farm) were adopted confidently across the trust, from leadership to volunteers, and Together St Paul's went on to earn national recognition in Locality's Transforming Lives award.
